Services

Inspire has provided Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) to children and adults for more than 15 years through our commitment to staffing qualified, devoted and dedicated employees.

What is HCBS?

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) are person-centered and delivered in both the home and out in the community. Inspire, Inc. provides Attendant Care, Habilitation and Respite Care for children and adults in their home and/or community.

HCBS services we provide

Attendant Care (ATC)

  • Attendant Care is provided to help an individual with their personal hygiene, assist in dressing, and help with meals. Attendant care can be received in the home or out in the community.
  • Attendant Care Services provide persons with disabilities the supports they need to maintain the highest quality of life. Based on the Individual Service Plan (ISP) we provide trained staff to help with lifting and transfers, bathing, shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
  • If you prefer family members, neighbors, and friends can also all be referred to us, and we will provide them with the required trainings and certifications they will need to work.
  • In fact, parents of persons with disabilities over the age of 18 can usually be certified to provide this service.
  • The State of Arizona requirements include fingerprint clearance, CPR, First Aid, Article 9, background checks and continued Direct Care Worker (DCW) training and certifications.

Our goal is to provide families with high quality DSP’s that are compassionate, skilled, and are a match for the family and the member.  Our meet and greet process helps the member and family to determine if the DSP is a good fit for the family’s preferences.  This process is very effective in deciding on your support staff.

Habilitation (HAH / HAI / HID)

Habilitation services are for individuals that need help and support working on a variety of outcomes listed on their Individual Service Plan (ISP).  The mission of habilitation is to support learning independently, improving life skills and assist with physical and social adaptability.

  • Habilitation Services prepare people with disabilities to live more independently in the community through learning and developing new skills, abilities, and behaviors.
  • Common areas for training include self-care, communication, socialization, safety, physical and emotional expression, pre-vocational skills, leisure activities, and problem solving.
  • The service is provided by a trained Direct Support Professional (DSP) who works one-on-one on goals and outcomes determined by the individual and his or her team.
  • Parents and guardians can often be certified and trained to provide Habilitation to their adults or children.

Our goal is to provide families with high quality DSP’s that are compassionate, skilled, and are a match for the family and the member.  Our meet and greet process helps the member and family to determine if the DSP is a good fit for the family’s preferences and members goals.  This process is very effective in deciding on your support staff.
